We are very lucky here at Sterling to have developed such a fantastic team of industry experts, all dedicated to providing a high-quality service to our agency and contractor clients alike. Each month we are asking one member of our team a bit more about them and their role here at Sterling. This month we are introducing you to Stuart Clarke.

What is your role at Sterling Group?

Senior Agency Account Manager

What is your background in the industry?

I have 12 years’ experience, all with Sterling including time within our Contracts & Insurance team as well as managing our on boarding team.

Could you please describe a typical day in the office?

No two days are the same to be honest that is the great thing about the role. Every day brings a new challenge and offers something new, from queries about legislation changes to developing new opportunities.

Which aspect of your job do you most enjoy?

Building relationships with our key agency partners and developing new business.

Describe your job in three words

Fast-paced, engaging, rewarding.

Questions about you 

Do you have any hobbies?

I love following my local rugby league team St Helens both home and away. I also enjoying spending time with my daughter, listening to music and am constantly reading new books.

What is your favourite film?

I would have to say Jurassic Park. It was the first film I remember watching at the cinema and is such an iconic film.

What is your favourite food?

That is a tough one; it would have to be between something Mexican or an Indian take away.

Where would you say is your favourite place?

Of all the places I have been I would have to say the Lake District as I find it so peaceful and have some amazing family memories of being there.

Do you have any hidden talents or party tricks?

I’m not sure, if it classes as a talent, but I have a photographic memory for directions & places I’ve been.
